Champions Christian Academy partners with Step Up for Students and participates in Florida's state scholarship programs so that tuition is never the reason a student misses out on a faith-centered, personalized education.
Available Scholarships
We accept multiple scholarship programs. Below are the most common options for families at CCA.
Florida Tax Credit Scholarship (FTC)
Step Up for Students
Funded by Florida corporate tax credits, this scholarship covers up to 100% of tuition for eligible students.

- Florida resident K-12 student Enrolled in or applying to a participating private school First-time recipient or renewing student Household income within program limits
Family Empowerment Scholarship (FES-EO)
State of Florida
The FES-EO program provides education scholarships to students who have been enrolled in a Florida public school for the prior school year.

Varies by grade level and county
Eligibility
- Florida resident K-12 student Enrolled in a Florida public school during the prior school year Receiving a Grade 4 FSA score or above Must maintain eligibility requirements
Unique Abilities Scholarship
Step Up for Students
Designed specifically for students with certain disabilities, this scholarship supports personalized education plans and reasonable accommodations.
Maximum Award
Varies by scholarship tier
Eligibility
- Student with a qualifying disability Enrolled in or applying to a participating private school Documentation of disability from a licensed professional

Full-Time Scholarship Program Participation
Champions Christian Academy is a full-time, in-person Christian private school serving students in grades 6–12 in compliance with Florida Department of Education private school requirements.
Students participate in regularly scheduled on-campus instruction, teacher-directed coursework, attendance monitoring, academic accountability, and individualized educational support within a structured school environment. Additional academic support, assignments, and supplemental learning opportunities may be provided outside of school hours to support student success.

- Christian-based curriculum and mentorship
- Personalized educational support and flexible scheduling for student success
Intended Scholarship Participation
Champions Christian Academy intends to participate in the following Florida scholarship programs, pending final approval and compliance requirements:
- Family Empowerment Scholarship for Educational Options (FES-EO)
- Family Empowerment Scholarship for Students with Unique Abilities (FES-UA)
- Florida Tax Credit Scholarship (FTC)
- Certain scholarship programs may be available to eligible families depending on program requirements and state approval.

Step Up for Students is a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit that administers Florida's scholarship programs for education freedom. CCA is currently pursuing participation in Florida scholarship programs pending final state approval.
How to Apply
The process is simpler than you might think. Here's how to get started.
Check Your Eligibility
Review the scholarship requirements above. Both FTC and FES-EO have income and enrollment eligibility criteria.
Create Your Step Up Account
Visit stepupforstudents.org and create a parent account.
Complete the Application
Fill out the scholarship application through your Step Up portal. Be sure to list Champions Christian Academy as your school of choice.
Receive Your Award
Once approved, Step Up will notify you of your award amount. Funds are paid directly to CCA.
Enroll at Champions Academy
With your scholarship in place, complete our enrollment process.

Champions Christian Academy operates as a Florida private school and is pursuing participation in approved state scholarship programs in accordance with Florida Department of Education requirements.
