We accept multiple scholarship programs. Below are the most common options for families at CCA.

Florida Tax Credit Scholarship (FTC)

Step Up for Students

Funded by Florida corporate tax credits, this scholarship covers up to 100% of tuition for eligible students. The program allows corporations to redirect tax dollars to education while giving families access to the school of their choice.

Florida resident K-12 student
Enrolled in or applying to a participating private school
First-time recipient or renewing student
Household income within program limits

Family Empowerment Scholarship (FES-EO)

State of Florida

The FES-EO program provides education scholarships to students who have been enrolled in a Florida public school for the prior school year. It can be used for private school tuition, including CCA.

Varies by grade level and county

Eligibility

Florida resident K-12 student
Enrolled in a Florida public school during the prior school year
Receiving a Grade 4 FSA score or above, or demonstrating educational need
Must maintain eligibility requirements

Step Up for Students

Designed specifically for students with certain disabilities, this scholarship supports personalized education plans and reasonable accommodations in private school settings.

Eligibility

Student with a qualifying disability (Down syndrome, autism spectrum disorder, etc.)
Enrolled in or applying to a participating private school
Documentation of disability from a licensed professional

How to Apply

The process is simpler than you might think. Here's how to get started.

Check Your Eligibility

Review the scholarship requirements above. Both FTC and FES-EO have income and enrollment eligibility criteria. Contact us if you're unsure — we're happy to help you understand your options.

Create Your Step Up Account

Visit stepupforstudents.org and create a parent account. You'll need to provide basic information about your family and the student(s) you wish to apply for.

Complete the Application

Fill out the scholarship application through your Step Up portal. Be sure to list Champions Christian Academy as your school of choice — our Tax ID is available upon request.

Receive Your Award

Once approved, Step Up will notify you of your award amount. Funds are paid directly to CCA — you won't receive a check. We'll handle the rest.

Enroll at Champions Academy

With your scholarship in place, complete our enrollment process. Our team will guide you through every step and make sure everything is in order before the first day.
